Role Overview
As part of our continued growth and strengthening our Supply Chain team, we are looking for a Logistics Team Leader to support the daily coordination of our warehouse operations in Penafiel.
This role focuses on hands-on operational leadership, coordinating warehouse activities and supporting the team in day-to-day logistics operations to ensure efficiency, organization and compliance with quality standards.
The position reports to the Supply Chain Manager and will work alongside another Logistics Team Leader.
What will you be doing?
- Coordinate the daily operational activities of the warehouse team
- Supervise inbound and outbound logistics operations
- Ensure proper handling, storage and movement of materials and finished products
- Organize team tasks and priorities to ensure smooth workflow
- Monitor warehouse processes and ensure compliance with internal procedures and quality standards
- Support inventory accuracy and stock organization
- Collaborate closely with the Supply Chain Manager, purchasing and planning teams
- Identify operational improvements and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain a safe and well-organized warehouse environment
Who are we looking for?
- Secondary education with a technical or vocational qualification in Logistics, or a Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field
- Previous experience in warehouse or logistics operations
- Experience coordinating teams in operational environments is highly valued
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Hands-on and proactive approach to operational challenges
- Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment
- Ability to work cross-functionally and coordinate different departments
- Experience in regulated industries such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals or other ISO-certified environments is highly valued (ISO9001, ISO13485 & ISO14001)
- English proficiency is required, as internal communication within the group is conducted in English (Minimum B1 – Mandatory)

- To stay closely connected to our operations and collaborate effectively with colleagues, this role is performed primarily on-site. Structural home working is therefore not part of this position
