At the beginning of June we celebrated Children’s Day (June 1) and World Environment Day (June 5) through a creative contest: Future Green Heroes. An initiative by Sterisets aimed at raising environmental awareness among the children of our employees. And we are happy to say that children from both Portugal and the Netherlands participated.
The goal was to encourage creativity and artistic expression through the reuse of materials, all around the central theme of sustainability. The projects were assessed on three points:
– Creativity and originality
– Connection with environment and sustainability
– Smart reuse of materials
Selecting the winners was no easy task for the judges! Every project showed remarkable creativity and a clear message about protecting the environment and safeguarding our future. In the end, we selected three winners.
It was great to see the enthusiasm of the children. In addition, our colleagues supported this initiative from the start and even shared ideas for future activities. It was a successful initiative, and we’re proud of everyone who joined!
