The convective patients warming system manufactured by Sterisets® gives a constant body temperature to patients in oparating rooms. A constant body temperature between 36 and 37,5 degrees celsius is important. The body system will take care of thermoregulation, but not when this function is shut down by anesthesia. If the core temperature of patients is too low this may result in a greater risk of infection Hypothermia may cause complications and with that increased costs and risks per patient.

Sterisets® Convective warming system is the newest generation of patient warming devices to prevent hypothermia during a pre-operative or surgery stage.
The Sterisets® convective warming unit is one of the most compact warming units on the market. With its release in 2023, it complies with the latest standards, weighs only 2,3kg and produces maximum noise levels <55dBa.
Additionally to the warming unit are the Sterisets® convective warming blankets. These disposable warming blankets can be used in combination with the Sterisets® convective warming unit, as well as with most other common brands, due to its universal velcro connection.

The Sterisets® Convective blankets for patient warming are available in a range of 9 different blankets, and standard contain:

Sterisets® warming blankets for patients come in all shapes and sizes. Full body, Mulkti access, abdominal acces, adult Tube, lower body, upper body arm IN, upper body arm OUT, pedriatric neonatal, pediatric child and pediatric tube. the blankets can also be uses in combination with most of the other patient warming systems currently available on the market.

Sterisets international B.V was founded in 1996 and therefore has more then 30 years of experience in manufacturing medical products. Can blankets be used several times (reusable)?
No, blankets are for single use only
Do blankets from other brands fit on the Sterisets warming machine?
No, most other brands have a connection on the blanket, which fit on the hose of that particular brand. However, Sterisets blankets will fit on most other machines, as we have an universal connection. See our compatibility declaration.
