Steriflush is well known in the medical device industry. With the experience of manufacturing pre-filled syringes for many years, Sterisets has developed a new production line for pre-filled syringes. The whole process is performed in a cleanroom ( ISO 5 ) environment and is fully automated. All syringes are terminally sterilized for safe usage.
The colour of the closure caps and labels makes it easy to identify the volume.

Are Steriflush® PFS are Bisphenol A free?
Yes, all Steriflush® PFS are Bisphenol A free.
Are Steriflush® PFS equipped with a short piston to avoid re-use and ensure the sterility of the solution contained inside?
All syringes used in any type of procedure cannot be re-used. So the inclusion of a short piston to avoid re-use is pointless.
The syringe must not allow it to be used for drug reconstitution - is it applicable to Steriflush® PFS?
Yes, Steriflush® syringe must not be used for drug reconstitution. Please see IFU.
The syringe must be designed to maintain positive pressure at the end of the infusion in order to reduce the rusk of occlusion due to reflux info the catheter - is it applicable to Steriflush®? In your brochure I read it's 'anti reflux'. Is it for the reasons asked by the hospitals?
Yes, most syringes have the anti-reflux. This is the pressure caused by the device used to administer any fluids to the patient. The Steriflush® PFS have this function in it's products.
The diameter of the syringe must be such as not to generate overpressure at the time of infusion - is it applicable to Steriflush® PFS? Can you provide the diameter size?
Yes, Steriflush® PFS do not generate overpressure. The diameter size is provided in the table below:
Type Inner diameter Outer diameter
3 ML Syringe - 8,6 mm, tolerance 0,1mm +/- - 10,30 mm, tolerance 01,+-
5 ML Syringe - 11,6 mm, tolerance 0,1mm +/- - 13,80 mm, tolerance 01,+-
10 ML Syringe - 13,9 mm, tolerance 0,1mm +/- - 16,05 mm, tolerance 01,+-
20 ML Syringe - 18,5 mm, tolerance 0,1mm +/- - 21,05 mm, tolerance 01,+-
